  We were so excited to share the Big Benito with out of town guests and when we went to pick up our pizzas, we were told they didn't have our order and that we probably called another store. Since the cell phone has a record of numbers called, we knew we had called the Carroll Lake store. It would not have been a problem for me if the girl had just admitted her mistake instead of shifting the blame to me. Spoke to the manager who also was very little help. Customer service in this case was absolutely terrible. This is a shame since we do many parties and would be very hesitant to order here again.
  UPDATE - I heard from the owner of the Commerce Benito's tonight and she was very nice and apologetic for what had happened to us. We have family coming in from Alberta next month so will definitely try this again. I originally gave this place one star due to the treatment we received, but I have changed it to 4 stars because the pizza has always been excellent in the past and I hope that the owner lets her employees know that mistakes can happen - and that it is best to own up to them instead of trying to blame someone else.

  Benito's used to be really good, but recently they have gone downhill. Last couple of times I was in there it was being run by teenagers who probably don't care too much about their job. The last 2 pizzas I ordered came with almost no toppings, and the pizza just doesn't taste as good anymore. I will continue my hunt for a good pizza place in the area. (I am a self-proclaimed pizza connoisseur from New Jersey)
